Hiking Holiday

based in Kathamandu Nepal

Check out the Langtang Valley, almost directly north of Katmandu. The travel time is much smaller that treks in the Everest region or Annapurna. It is about a 3-4 day hike to the uppermost town in the valley, along a glaciel river. There are tea house and hostels in various spots the whole way up, and a guide is not needed(If you are an experienced hiker). There are numerous trails that actually wind down from Langtan to Katmandu, but we were so beat, we didn’t try any of those.

i have a budget of less than a 1000 per day and can travel for maximum 4 hours by bike to a place outside mumbai for a short holiday ….any suggestions?

Taking a bike ride is risky these days. You can take up a bus journey through some travel -package wherein they including lodging and boarding taking you to various spots and picking you back. I thank that will be economical and facilitating for you.

I got a five day hoilday at school after the winter holiday because of adding more school days in one semester.How can i make it longer?I cant ride my bike because it is too cold,and there is no snow.I want go outside with my friend’s but when we are outside we just get bored because we can go anywhere we want to because were only 12.

As you see i love parties so why don’t you make one?There is lots of advice in magazines and stuff like that!I’m 12 too and i think parties are great!Well it is up to you though….HOPE I HELPED!!:))

Have you ever try to bike El Camino de Santiago?
it begins in Rocesvalle, France and finish in the Cathedral of Santiago in Galicia, Spain.
I have thinking doing it this Autumn or next springs. In bike it takes you some 2 weeks. You can get a certificate in Roncesvalle, so you can have place to sleep for free (depends if it isn’t full).
I recommend you spring or Autumn, because it will not be so full, so warm or so cold!
Also you can enjoy spectacular view, bike across the mountain side of France and Spain.
I have some biker friends that have done it!

I’m making a scrapbook from our holiday at local mountain this summer where the guys did their extreme mountain biking thing. On one page, I have pictures of the various signs on the trails,I’d like to add a "Do’s & Don’ts list to the page. Can anyone give me suggesations? (I don’t bike, & my teenaged boys who do are out for the night).

The best tip I can give is to stay loose and light on your bike. Don’t panic even if the going gets tough. let your bike do the work your just there to direct the bike in the direction you want and hang on for the ride. Also be confident in your riding and skill level. I could keep going but these are some of the important tips that helped me over the years.

where can i get a good package holiday, with quad biking, relaxation, and somewhere to stay?

There is a hotel up in Scotland. They do quad biking, 4 x 4, they have a gym, a pool, a golf course, krazy golf, a beauty salon, horse riding etc. Crieff Hydro, Crieff, Perthshire
